Bulging Eye - Has Always Been Bulgy But Seems Worse

I am new to this forum though i have kept guinea pigs for nearly 15 years. Peanut butter our poor little baby girl has had bulgy eyes as long as i have had her. She is around 5. She has bladder stones and 2 masses around her ovaries and womb. I am not sure how to post a photo

Hi and welcome!

Please have her eye checked by a savvy as soon as possible. A bulging eye can be due to an abscess at the back of (retrobulbar abscess) or caused by glaucoma. The first can be treated with a strong antibiotic in the early stages.

Some piggies have eyes that are protruding more or a narrow face that makes it look like that. I have had one them, too.

She seems as happy as ever. Running around the lounge wheeking away when we go near the fridge. She is poorly anyway so is losing weight slowly so could be that. The vet wont operate as there is a lot wrong with her. They said she wouldnt have long that was back in July 2017 but she is a happy little trooper. We just had Tribble in the vet as he scratched his retina and had to have drops every 2 hours.
