I rehomed two girls last Sunday. (I've had my 2 for 18 months).
They were together but i'm suspecting in a larger group. One of the girls is constantly chasing and nipping the others butt. She now squeals whenever she comes near her and sounds distressed.Today it's happened a lot more.
Advice please.
One is 10 months I believe and one 12 months.

Hi, sorry you've been missed! I would leave them to it as long as they're not actually fighting. They will be establishing hierarchy just not. They need to re-do this when they move to a new environment. See how they go and keep an eye on them, but it doesn't sound like anything to worry about. The squeaking can be just their way of saying ' I know you're the boss, stop reminding me!' It's a submissive sound, and doesn't usually mean they are in pain.
