Hi all! I'm sorry that I only posted this now, but I was very busy throughout the past 2-3 weeks that I haven't had the time to write this post.

A couple of weeks ago, I was handling some of my boars, until I noticed something very peculiar on my boar shadow's bum, it was this big scab or crust, it looked like a mix of litter, pee, and poop though, of course, me being the over-emotional, sensitive owner I am, setting into full panic mode.
"its an abscess, he's gonna die!" i wail, crying my eyes out, it was a sunday and no vets were open.
My friend, originally a guinea pig/hamster owner started saying.
"its not, dont worry, give him a bum bath and try picking it out."
thats what I did, the thing was, shadow was pooping absolutely fine, so that was one thing i was relived of.

I dipped shadow in and out of of a luke-warm bath and managed to squeeze the dirty patch out, it wasn't hurting him I think, he didn't wheek once.
I didn't capture a photo, but it was quite brown, and crusty.

I got it off, and he's showed no signs of being in pain, or any problems.
I kinda though it could've been boar glue? because it was really stuck.

Any Ideas?

Sorry, your location ' on the bum' is too vague an area to even start more than wildly guessing.
Boar glue is whiteish (it is dried semen), but could you have come up against the grease gland?

I would assume that it is some dried soft/squashed poo or general gunk he may have picked up when wiping a damp bum on the floor while scent marking. Poos, once dried, can really stick.
