Bump On Guinea Pigs Upper Left Eyelid

I was holding my guinea pig last night and i noticed that he had a bump on his upper left eyelid. It feels very dry and almost crusty. It could be a stye or something minor so I didn't want to call the vet yet. I thought I would ask on here to get some opinions.

it would be best if you try and post a picture. But a dry crusty patch on the face could be fungal so please make sure you follow strict hygiene procedures until you know for certain. I'm dealing with my first bout of suspected fungal and it isn't fun

Hi! If the eye rim is not usually as white as that, I would have your piggy checked for fungal. If it is, you should see some hair loss in the surrounding area in the coming days as what is visible is just the very early stages. Once you have an acute fungal infection, it has to run its due course. We can provide you with tips on the home care side once you have got a diagnosis.

I agree with Wiebke, could be fungal. A vet trip for certain to check so you can get on top of it.
