Had a really busy day yesterday and today, after the newspaper article on Friday.

Buzz and Jet - delivered to their new home Saturday morning - with 3 children, various dogs, rabbits and pygmy goats!
Dudley and Haribo - reserved to a family in my village, who cycled up with their son to meet the piggies :)
Bilbo Baggins - reserved, pending finding a friend - to a lovely couple with a little girl. Currently trying to bond him with Spike...
Jed and Jingo - been here since October, reserved to a lovely adult family who have spent thousands of pounds converting their garage into a piggy/ bunny / chinchilla paradise and are willing to spend lots of time with the boys to get them tamer
GPS and SatNav - who have been with Teresa for months, despite coming in as tiny babies, nobody has shown any interest in them -reserved to sister in law of the people who had Jet and Buzz!
Ethel our old lady went to be a friend to a 5 year old sow

Still got other people coming with single piggies to pair up visiting during the week.

Only Frodo and Spike (if he doesn't get on with Bilbo) left for rehoming!

The piggies and me are all tired from the weekend, piggies now all tucked up in bed, I'm relaxing with a mug of tea!

AWWW - you must be knackered but SOOO elated! Well done! :))

That's brilliant news - but you must be exhausted!

Suzy x

I am! But happy.

It was different to normal, because usually people have had to do their research to find the rescue, contact me, arrange a visit... whereas these people had all just seen the article in the local paper and phoned up for some guineas, so there was a lot of 'vetting' involved to make sure it wasn't on a whim! (not that I'm not usually careful, if you see what I mean!).

But no, all lovely people and lovely homes lined up.

And I randomly got some dog training work out of it too! :)

Well done, that is amazing!

Every rescue needs to do this!! :)) I wish i was a reporter i would bum you lot up to death.

Brilliant for you and the piggies and their new families x

Well done Sophie - you must be over the moon.

So lovely to think of all those little piggies going to super new homes.

Chocolate - that's what you need and lots of it - to push up your energy levels.......................:))

Can't thank you enough Sophie for finding GPS and SatNav a home - really thought the poor boys were going to become permanent residents - they're busy packing their slippers and toothbrushes as I type.....................:))

Teresa xx

What lovely news. It will be quiet when they're all gone and what will you do with yourself when you have to piggies to be slave to :))

Wow fantastic news Sophie!

Am thinking it may be an idea to try and get a local paper to do an article for Windwhistle Warren in Glocs, Alice currently had 105 rabbits and 40 gpigs up for adoption, numbers growing all the time @):{:(
