My little girl Mimi has what feels like a row of bumps halfway down each side of her, underneath her fur and skin. I can't feel anything similar on Boris, but he's a bit porkier thank her. Not sure if I've described it very well, but does anyone have any idea what they are?
 
They could be mammary lumps or fatty lumps. Do they seem to be under her armpits? I would get them checked by the vet in case. A lot of fatty lumps are harmless.
 
The majority of lumps is harmless, but not all. Please have any checked by a vet.
 
Embarrassingly. I think they may be her ribs. It's just I've never felt them before and she really doesn't like being handled much below her armpits, so the bumps and the irritable response made me worry. I'll check again in the morning when she's perhaps not so grumpy!
