Bunny in P@H

I went to P@H this morning for some Hay for the piggies and I saw an Angora bunnie all on its own in a tiny cage.

There was a sign above it saying that it needs a new home, preferably indoors, as it doesnt get on with the other bunnies in P@H.

Please someone go get it, I felt really sorry for it, it looked so bored and sad and it had no room to run, and I wanted to take it myself but I cant at the moment we have no room indoors.

Its in the P@H in Halifax, if anyone has room for it?

Probably doesn't "get on" with others as it has become hormonal and needs neutering : It annoys me that they have specialist breeds like Angora too as you just know someone will see the "cute fluffy bunny" and buy it on impulsse and it will end up all matted and dirty in a hutch somewhere
Was it under the adoption scheme ot had it just been separated from the regular sale bunnies?

It was just seperated, it was in a small cage next to the 2 large runs which have bunnies and piggies in.

I started another thread on angoras being bought my little kids who wont look after them
I think they should be banned in pet shops and should only be available from breeders
Sorry got my hands full with Biscotti being hormonal right now cant cope with another mounting, spraying bun

I would think it is a Lion head rather than an angora,All the P@H seem to be selling lion heads at the moment

They had an angora in my local one, unfortunately.
I would have to say though, sad as it is, buying this rabbit will only encourage the reckless breeding and selling of further rabbits and won't help rabbit welfare. Sad for this fellow though

Oh i went in to the one in Halifax and it was there is name his dougal! I really wanted him but unfortunately my parents would not let me.
