Bur Clovers in Alfalfa?

I have found some little spiky bur like things in the hay. Removed some for a few days. But when on line and got a picture identical. Anybody know. I am a knew piggy owner. And have been for about four months and NEVER have seen this. Maybe it's just me I guess who doesn't know.
 
Read the ingredients and it will tell you what it is. It may be a flower they have added for flavour.
 
It could be a flower. Do you have a picture?

Secondly, how old are your piggies? Alfalfa is really only for young piggies as it is high in calcium and even then it is a supplement really for timothy hay or meadow hay.

I do have pictures I believe but my camera files dont get along with the site. Basically it wont upload properly. And they just turned six months on the 24th. And they are being transitioned to Timothy hay and other grass hays as treats.
