I Got Bertie a bag of this a week or so ago. It smells lovely, I was putting some in his bowl and there is a walnut size lump. It looks like stuck together food. So I sent burgess an email telling them what I had found. Everso polite I was. They want to see the lump of food, reckon it might be worth a coupon or two. x:)
 
That seems to be happening a lot recently, if it's a big red one someone uploaded photos of them and to me it looked like their dog food which will obviously harm the piggies.
My bags clean though so no coupons :(

LOL i'm just going to buy loads and see if i can find a dodgy one for coupons
 
I think it should be worth a few bags of free food or two, not coupons they are only like £2 off! :)
 
Yea Clarewm92 had a problem with dog food in her bag, not sure how she got on though after contacting them and sending pictures.....
 
I sent the lump of food back to Burgess with a letter explaining that I had found it in a bag of B and O. It was freepost as well. I got a nice letter back today.....
I am pleased to confirm that the sample which you sent for analysis has now undergone full investigation. .....at varying stages during manufacture the food is sprayed with liquid ingredients and this can cause a build up of material in the equipment. Extensive cleaning takes place to ensure that product is not accumulating but on rare occasions there can be a build up which can fall off into the food..... as a gesture of goodwill I hope you would accept the enclosed money off vouchers...
of course I will Burgess.... 5 x £2 off vouchers valid until end of year...get munching Bertie!
