Burgess excel .. new shape?

I know this has been asked by people before and it has turned out to be dog food in the guinea food. Well this time the shape isn't completely different, just skinnier ..

I have smelt them both and they smell similar, just the older version (on the right) smells stronger. I have also tasted them both (which was SO disgusting - how do they eat that?) and they both tasted similar again (I think) except the old version tasted worse.

I'm worried because I came home this morning to their bowls being filled with it by my mum. Help/opinions please!
 
I got my bag a few months ago, and it looks like the one on the right (older version). To me, it just looks like a factory miss-hap. Hopefully, you're next bag will be back to normal.

I'm going to get a bag this Monday, so I'll try and tell you what mine look like when I get them.. if I remember. I have a memory like a sieve. xP
 
Hmm...I think it's probably the same thing, just a mis-shaped nugget. The bigger one probably smelled and tasted stronger as it was bigger maybe.

I've found a couple of odd shaped ones before in my bags.
 
I just got a new bag and they are the skinnier shape, I figured they'd just changed the shape.
 
Same problem here too, I've emailed Wagg with the question. They've also changed some of the items in the Crunch too, my Piggies are just chucking the new shapes out of the bowl.
 
The blackcurrant nuggets are alot smaller than the regular ones. I wonder if some of these have sneaked in somehow?!
 
Good to know I'm not the only one with skinny nuggets it really worried me. I must say though - don't be tempted to eat them because they're disgusting :{
It does seem like they're just skinnier now..
 
Lol I got the skinny ones as well. Literally sat there for like 20 minutes the other day trying to figure out what had changed, didn't work it out until I saw this post :)).
 
I brought a bag today, and I've got the skinner shape. Must just be a new shape, I'm guessing... I too tasted them haha :)>>>, but they taste pretty similar to me.
