I've read a lot about burgess excel pellets being one of the best for guinea pigs. I was just wondering everyones opinions on it?

@helen105281 has been doing research on pellets recently and might be able to send you in the right direction.

I haven't been using Burgess due to the calcium content.

The commercial brands that are made here in the UK are very high in both calcium and protein but also are chock full of bad ingredients like mollasses, grains and soya. I feed a mixture of the following 2 German brands from Zooplus which have good calcium to phosphorus ratios, have no bad ingredients and any calcium is not from calcium carbonate which is what is believed to cause stones.

Burgess excel has 17% protein and 0.9% calcium and includes both soya and mollasses. I am aware though that a lot of people and rescues do feed it but I do not give it to my own pigs. Since moving to the above grainless pellets they have all been so much more active.

which do you use? if you don't mind me asking :)

I am using the JR Farm Grainless from Zooplus but thanks to @helen105281 I found out that they are full of fruit so I need to change to something else. At the moment they are getting a handful each anyway so it's not as bad as it could be.
