For those who are wondering what type of grass it contains I asked on FB and they said:

"Burgess use Timothy and Fescue grass varieties in their Excel Guinea Pig nuggets. These good quality grasses are grown especially for Burgess and harvested while young. Hope that helps! Amy"

So they emailed me (I emailed because no one responded on Facebook) and their saying it contains "some" alfalfa.

Probably not, it took me all of my time to get them to tell me the type of grass it contains LOL.
