I was, well still am feeding my guinea pig burgess excel guinea pig nuggets, with a little guinea pig food and forage from the woodlands range mixed through it. However they are going of burgess, i asume woodlands tastes better lol.

Ive also bought them wagg premium nuggets (much cheaper than excel)

but I was wondering peoples' opinions ..... I'm gonna keep adding in a small amount of the woodlands food *** they love it, but its too expensive for me too fully feed them on it, plus it has aplphalpha- only a small amount so I'm not worried- but i dont wanna fully feed this and risk having porkers.

anyhooo what are opinions on pellets v muesli? I make videos on youtube and get slammed if i ever mention feeding muesli....
Also a few people on there have been saying there are traces of animal products in excel? does anyone know anything about this '*** I cant find any information?:x

I don't feed mine muesli but this is purely because they don't eat all of it so it's not very economical for me.
I've just started using Wagg Optimum again after finding an online stockist which works out really reasonably (I can buy bunny food at the same time to help with the P&P lol) and mine love it.
I haven't tried the Woodlands stuff but this is because I've only ever seen it in P@H and I refuse to spend money in there.
Does it have any artificial colourings or anything in it? I think this is the main concern with muesli mixes.

oh the woodland food an forage isnt a meusli its all pellets, nuggets and it has marigold and hay i think, i can check the ingredients later.
I found the wagg optimum in Tesco if thats any help to you?
I'm considering trying meusli, but really its hard getting food that all three of my pigs will eat, they all seem to like different foods...
perhaps i should have 2or 3 food bowls? with different foods? hmmm@)
