I have only just realised that burnie doesnt wheek!?! He just makes a weird scratchy attempt of one. And the only other noise ive heard from him is he vibrates when i give him veg.

Has he not learnt how to? He has been alone from a very early age , how strange.
I have checked him over and he isnt visibly sick

Some piggies don't have a big wheek or lose it when they get older. Like with humans you also get the nonstop chatterers, the big complainers and the strong silent types.

Puggle doesn't wheek, everyone else wheeks but she just doesn't. She has a whole secret vocabulary of various different subtle intonations of chuckles, purrs, coos, etc but no wheeks at all!

Thanks for replies, hopefuly hes the strong silent type then😁 i could do with a pig thats not sick.

My Daisy doesn't have an audible wheek. She's got all the action, but no sound. But can scream loud enough when sister Rosie turfs her out of somewhere. She is 4 now and has never had a wheek.

My Mash never wheaks either, he doesn't make much noise anyways. He purrs and what not but not a single wheak. I don't think he's wheaked for one year now. It just seems normal, and the house is much quieter!

Putt never wheeked, maybe only twice in her lifetime.

Peanut doesn't wheek or make any noise at all, but Spike makes up for him he talks non stop about everything he does!
