being new to guniea pigs, I'm still trying to work my way through all the info on diets etc to get it all right!
i DO try my best to feed as natural as possible with all my animals, so having tried Burns welsh meadow hay and it being a huge hit, i emailed them to see if they made a diet sepcifically for piggys, and this was their reply
"For rabbits and Guinea pigs we have the Green Oat hay and the Welsh Meadow
hay. We also have dried Dandelion, Coltsfoot, Plantain and Meadow Mix which
can be fed in any combination along with plenty of vegetables which would
then make up a complete diet.
If you are currently feeding a pelleted/muesli mix this can be gradually
withdrawn from the diet to make a more natural feeding regime."
i was just wondering what opinions other people had on this?
as my piggies are all still young, i really dont want to put them at any risk them but would prefer as natural a diet as possible
thanks in advance
