All 3 girls had a health check this evening.

Sparkles had her nails trimmed and was given a clean bill of health :-*
Honey & Poppy have been treated with my remaining xeno 50 mini drops (as advised) and need to go back for mite injections in 2 weeks. They have had antibiotics prescribed to help their immune system too.

Sparkles is a chubsome 1.10kg
Poppy & Honey's weights have both increased nicely since they were last weighed but I can't remember what the increase was >:(

that is wonderful news that your girls are well and fighting fit! :smitten: :smitten: :smitten: did your girls on antibiotics get a probiotic too? to protect their tummies from becoming upset? so gald all are going well. hugs and cuddles from me and the girls. :smitten: :smitten: :smitten:

Not thinking straight or remembering things that well today, I have a migraine :(

sorry too for your migraine, i get pressure headaches and they are bad enough for me. :tickedoff: :tickedoff: :tickedoff: OH gets migraines and sometimes they are so bad he is throwing up, shaking etc. :smitten: :'( :'( :'( :smitten: :smitten: so i really feel for you and the pain you go through. as to ordering on line i think it is suffer to get from the vet but it is up to you. hoping you feel better soon. hugs and cuddles to you and your girls. :smitten: :smitten: :smitten:

Antibiotics to help their immune system?!? Are the pigs ill? They should absolutely NOT be given antibiotics if they are not ill.

Forgive me if I've missed something and they are sick and in need of antibiotics but it beggars belief that a vet would give antibiotics "to boost the immune system" when the likes of Baytril can seriously upset their tummies.

Glad the pigs are ok Amanda.

I do agree with DSL that they don't need antibiotics if they aren't ill and could cause problems with their tummys.

Sparkles sounds like she is doing well.

Chat soon!
