Today has been a big day for Penny. She moved in with her neighbours after loosing her husboar Gerry this week.
I'd joken about Penny having an affair with Ash next door as she always popcorns when he comes up to her and snogs her through the bars so hoped for a smooth meeting.

All started off well with all four piling into some hay in the newly designed house. (a 4 by 4 C&C)

Amelia (blond one on the left) Ash nearest the camera, Matilda in the middle and Penny the other side of her.

Things quickly kicked off with Ash and Penny chasing round and round the wooden leg holding up the top floors until I didn't know who was chasing who!

Amelia started shreaking even though no one was near her and Matilda buried herself in the hay.

Matilda had gone straight up to Penny and washed her ear which looked like a sign of respect to me as they seemed comfortable with each other quickly.
Penny got a little over the top sniffing Amelia's bum which made her shreak even more! (she's always a drama queen!)

After a little sleep round 2 began with Ash and Penny. There was a little tustle and someone lost some hair. (it's black so I don't know who it belongs to and didn't want to unsettle things more by taking them out to inspect, I'll wait til tomorrow)
I'm so suprised because she didn't seem to mind him mounting her to start with, I don't know what he did but he got a telling off. I think the nip was from her tbh.

Penny finally settled down next to Amelia who eventually stopped shreaking and fell asleep.

It's been quiet for a few hours now. I clearly didn't Matilda proof the new set up as she's already found her way under the fleece and is nice and snug under there.
I've introduced some of the plastic stools so they can hide under them with out getting trapped by another pig. So far there's no squabbles at all over them, they've all picked a stool and settled down under them.

I'm getting more confident each time I do a bonding just to let them get on with it. I was expecting this to be smoother and was very surprised that Ash and Penny teeth chattered at each other. I was already to intervine when they got into a scrap but glad I didn't jump in too soon. If I hadn't seen how they've been with each other sleeping together between the bars I would have seperated before but I think that was her putting her foot down.

Hopefully they have a peaceful night together and will be happy in their new house with their new friend.

Gosh what a lot of dramas! I hope they all get on and will live happily together.
