I know that guinea pigs should not have buttercups but what about the leaves? Would it do them any harm to eat a couple of buttercup leaves?

Have found that piggies will refuse to eat any bits of buttercup which may have got in with the grass,I am sure it is poisonous to them so be careful, cause if they were very hungry or only babies they might eat it.

STay off buttercups as much as you can. Normally, most guinea pigs won't touch them. Flowers are worse than leaves.

If you have accidentially fed a couple of leaves, it should not poison them, but be careful to pull ant buttercups up from where to let the piggies feed.

As a general rule bulb plants are the plants that you should stay clear of. Dried and fresh nettles are both fine to give to your guinea pigs. Marsh marigold should be avoided.
