:...I was wondering if there is a link between buttercups and daisies and blood in wee? I put my piggies out in area that had no visible flowers so put them out to graze. However after on closer inspection there were some little plants growing that looked like daisy and buttercup leafs. Later I noticed little red wee patches in both Howard and Vince's cages (my boars fight so live in separate cages). Should I be worried? :...

I don't think there is a link, but buttercups are poisonous (plants and flowers). Don't worry though, a few buttercups won't kill them. I actually used to feed mine loads of buttercups before I knew they were poisonous and it never harmed them at all. It's best to avoid them, but a few won't hurt, and they seem to eat around them too.

I think daisies are ok to eat, but not sure.

Have they been eating things like carrot or red pepper or other red coloured foods?

My Rogan had red wee... and I panicked and paid for him to go to the vet and it turned out to be beetroot that next door had fed him!

:):):)Thanks for the comments - it has made me feel a little better. I still watch them to make sure and keep them inside tomorrow just in case!
