Cornelius is bumbling about in the cage and flirting with Buttons through the cage bars. Benito is very quiet and groggy but he‘s had some veg and I‘ve also seen him eat hay. Currently he‘s cozied up in his hammock upstairs so I will put a pile of meadow hay upstairs for him and keep a good eye on the little man ❤

Benito has clearly sensed that I was getting a bit worried, he‘s ventured downstairs and is happily munching away

so she‘ll jump up a few steps and then squeal until someone carries her back down. She‘s very excited about her new discovery Buttons doesn’t understand the hype and much rather chews on things she‘s not supposed to chew on.

Officially on 2nd December! But since it’s a Wednesday we‘re probably going to bond on the Saturday. God, that’s only 2 weeks from today - I‘m excited (and nervous haha)! I‘ll definitely upload some videos afterwards x

Cornelius is a cream agouti - his chest is starting to get all cream coloured and I love it
Buttons, on the other hand is a little bit mixed haha. She‘s a 3-coloured dutch but her brown bits are a red agouti colour. She also has a an orange/reddish coloured belly and an one ear in the same colour here‘s a full body pic of the little croissant to make sure what I‘m saying makes any sense!
and I must say I do have a bit of a soft spot for Cornelius (ever since you posted that photo of his hedgehog impression!) he’s just absolutely gorgeous

I love all my piggies but I have to admit, Cornelius has a special place for me too. He's such a funny & cheeky little boy with a constantly confused look on his face We should try the hedgehog impression again - I wonder if he can still do it or if he's grown into his fur! But the best thing about him is the way he eats; so here's a video of him having his first ever grape

I usually aim to post an update every few weeks but I have to admit I didn't take as many pictures lately (the piggies are telling me off for it daily) but I'll have a look through and post some here at the weekend. And then I'll up my picture game again - otherwise Pewter might decide to move out

I also love his little pink tongue sticking out when he chews he totally underestimated the size and juiciness of this grape - much to our entertainment
She was about to come into heat and, let me tell you, she‘s one grumpy little ball of fur when that happens. She‘ll chatter her teeth at everything and everyone - Benito, us, the water bottle, her hay tray. Whatever she comes across, really! But he kept his distance like a wise man would and today she‘s much calmer and happier again. But let‘s get to the good part of the update - the pigtures:
We had a lovely, lazy Christmas break and were home pretty much all of the time which the piggies thoroughly enjoyed! There was a lot of floor time and many cuddles. Buttons & Cornelius are madly in love - those two are definitely made for each other. They are always close to each other, sometimes even sharing a hidey. Pewter and Benito are getting along fine too but I think they need more space than they‘ve currently got. Pewter is quite nippy and likes her personal space which poor little Benito doesn’t judge very well sometimes. We‘re currently in the middle of working out how we could expand their cage - we‘re quite tight on space so it is a bit of a challenge but no doubt we’ll work something out. OH wants to give it a bit more time to see if they settle down (which I‘ve agreed to because I know he can‘t watch poor Benito getting nipped in the butt much longer ). Other than that, everyone is well and cheeky as always
