Our lovely piggy Daisy died on my knee yesterday afternoon. I took her straight to the vets in the morning when she wasn't eating and was diagnosed with a chest infection and put on antibiotics. I syringe fed her but in the afternoon she def didn't want food. I wrapped her in her blanket to give her a cuddle then she spasmed 3 times and went floppy. No breath no heartbeat. Adopted 2.5 years ago into our little herd and much loved & missed. 20170629_175319.webp

I am so sorry for the loss of your beautiful little girl, try and take some comfort that she was with you when she crossed the bridge. Huge hugs to you, you did all you could x

Sleep well pretty girl

So sorry to hear that your beautiful girl has passed over the Rainbow Bridge . She is playing zoomies now with all her new friends and popcorning free.

Just saw your sad post.
So sorry you lost Daisy but you were with her at the end. Xx

Thanks for asking. Coming to terms with it more. Despite being 6 other piggies left, the cage is so quiet without her, because every time she heard the fridge open or a plastic bag crinkle she would get hold of the cage with her front teeth and rattle it until the food came. At least I know she had a good life since we adopted her 2.5 years ago.
