8... I took Fizzi to the vets early this morning! My appointment wasn't till 2.30pm but I knew that she wouldn't last and it was not fair to let her linger on! Boris and Piglet didn't make any sound this morning at 7am when I went to let them out so I knew something was wrong with Fizzi I give her her medication and syringe feed her!But her eyes were half closed and didn't move very much!I knew then that it was time.:0 Thankfully Ross & Jaye were staying at Grannie's for the night! So I was able just to pop on the bus to the vets, just as it was opening! The vet seen the cat that was first but although fully booked the vet was quite happy to see Fizzi before the next person came in! The vet checked Fizzi saying straight away that she could feel a mass/tumour inside! As I put Fizzi back onto the table and stroke her,I asked the vet if it was a good idea to put Fizzi to sleep 8...8...! As the vet said yes Fizzi collaped down onto her side, that was the answer from Fizzi! ''Time to let me go Mum! She was pts and wrapped in the pink tea towel that I had carried her in!
The people on the bus must have though I was a luny cuddling a pink bundle and crying! I still haven't told Ross yet! So not looking forward to that task! I've buried Fizzi in the garden,Ross will be upset that I've already buried her,but I could not leave her lying in the pet box!
She has been through so much in the last 6months bloat, cycst on bum then this! And never once did she make a fuss or bite. She is and always be a little star!:rose Miss you forever Fizzi.
i posted in your other thread in rainbow pets, but am so sorry to hear of your lost of fizzi8...8... at least now she is at peace and knew she was loved. so glad you could be with her at the end. RIP little angel run free and popcorn amongst the angels:rose:rose no more pain only happiness and peace for you. watch over your mummy and be with her in spirit. sending you big hugs and know you did the right thing for her. RIP darling fizzi another bright star in the sky.:0:0
I hope I can say this for most of the board in that we have all suffered Piggy loss and it does leave a whole in your life however small. Although she suffered, she did so with dignity.
