Bye bye Marshmellow

Hello all,

I had to say goodbye to my beautiful Marshmellow yesterday, she sadly died in my arms due to old age. She was a rescue guinea pig and was beautiful. I popped to feed her as usual and her two sisters ran out for the food and when she didnt I worried and checked... she was laid down and not moving, I picked her up and took her in my arms, she was peaceful and calm, just cuddled me until the end.

It was a very sad moment and I miss her so much already but I am glad I got the chance to give her a good healthy loved life.

I know my little girl is running free and enjoying a squeak in the sunshine x
 
So sorry to hear. My sow Madam died on Saturday in my arms due to a recurring illness, couldnt fight it anymore. Still recovering from the loss. It is like a big chunk of your life is missing, I know :( Can't handle work, as I keep crying constantly and speaking to people about it is impossible. Hugs go out to you. They are both at Rainbow Bridge. x
 
My little girl also called Madam departed in February & I still have tears in my eyes when I hear about others losses like this. xx
 
I hope that Madam and Marshmellow meet and have some veggies together.
I have taken comfort speaking with people on here as they understand and dont make me feel daft.
