Bye Bye Pippin

Sadly our special boy Pip passed away today.

I noticed he wasn't moving around as much this afternoon and when I picked him up he felt sort of 'soft' and was having trouble breathing. We rushed him down to the vets but sadly he went during the examination.
It's very sad and a total shock. He came to us as a rescue just two years ago and he can't have been more than a few months old when we got him.
I'm going to mis him terribly and his two girls are going to wonder where he's gone.

At least I was there with him comforting him until the end.

What a horrible shock for you! You and the vets did all you could, it's so hard when they can mask their illnesses from us.

I was totally shellshocked last night. I never expected him to go so soon or so quickly.

I'm sure his girls are looking for him this morning, it's very sad.
