Tomorrow we take our beautiful foster baby to The Potteries so he can find a new home and a new friend.

He's been with us for a fortnight and really grown in confidence. He is a popcorning loon and great fun to be around. He's a lovely character and we will miss him lots. If things go to plan he will be finding a new family of his very own. (If it all goes wrong and Struan doesn't behave at his bonding session then he may come home again as Struan's buddy...)

He's gorgeous, Hopefully it won't be long until he finds his own special forever home.. x
 
I'm sure a handsome chap like him will not be waiting long x

Mixed emotions when you have to hand them back to rescue after fostering, but you have done a wonderful job and now he goes on his next adventure to find a loving forever home. I was just the same when Jerry went back, he protested when I handed him over to Helen, so she passed him back to me and he stopped almost instantly, that brought a tear to my eye, as I felt as though I was betraying him. He has been gone 12 months now and I still think about him. There is a piccie of him on Potteries web site.

:) It's the best feeling to make a difference for any animal and because we care, it hurts. I will never forget him and I know his happily forever after is out there somewhere...

I know. I'm secretly hoping Struan prefers Snowball to his intended boar date (Sorry Helen, I know Hercules is in urgent need of a friend and I'm not sure him and Stru would like each other anyway...) but whatever happens I know he is safe, well, loved and will have a good life.

I'm so glad this forum is here to share these moments with. No matter what's going on with your pigs there's always someone who understands.

Snowball has moved in at The Potteries in the cage next to another gorgeous lone male and the beautiful Lola & Tasha who are desperately in need of a home and Frankie and Benny who are also looking for their forever home.

Sad to see him go but it's the start of a new chapter in his life and he will be very much loved by whoever is lucky enough to adopt him.
 
oooh thanks we got 2 of our past piggies from Clare who is involved with the Potts. I did have a look on the website but it said they didnt have single blokes LOL!

They don't often put the singles on the website as matches is personality dependant not looks :) It's always worth a phone call as they often have a few waiting or soon to come in....
