I am very sad to say that Stuart, my beloved boar, has passed away.

He would have been 4 years old in October. I hand-reared him and his brother, Shaun who still lives with me, after their mum wouldn't feed them although she had milk.

Stuart had lost loads of weight very rapidly and even after visits to the vet nothing could stop his weight loss.

He died in my arms.
RIP little man. You were a gentleman! Run free and popcorn forever in the lush green grass. I love you! xx

Here he is .... my Stuart ....

Aww how sad. 8... Poor Stuart, that photo is so cute of him.

He will be able to popcorn forever now with lots of cucumber to munch on.

RIP Stuart x

AWWW Goldie!

I am so sorry for you - I know how heartbreaking and awful it is to see one of your loved ones just fade away and go past the point of no return, and there is nothing you can do to stop it.

Stunning Stuart was your baby in every sense of the word, and part of your heart must have gone with him. You have given him the biggest, most generous gift after you helped him to into life - you helped him to leave it, carried and supported by your love and care. I am crying for the two of you as I write this.

BIG BIG HUG

I am so so sad that Stuart has gone. He was happy until the end, which I take comfort from but the end came rapidly.

He was fine, eating well, although very thin and active until a day before he passed away. He went to the vet late that afternoon but when I went to tuck him in for the night I knew he had taken a turn for the worst.

I wrapped him in a towel, stroked him and had a chat with him and within 5 minutes he had passed away. Silently and peacefully. That I will always remember.

He is the 3rd piggy of mine that has passed away in my arms ... I am sure that they wait for me. I know that they all went over the bridge nicely! xx

What a beautiful pig. I hope you have many happy memories that you can hold on to.

Slepp well little pig. xx

What a wonderful life you gave your handsome boy. To have reared Stuart since he was a tiny bub must have been very special for you. It is heartbreaking when the rainbow Bridge Angels come for our little ones, and whether it is expected or sudden, the sense of loss is still overwhelming.
Run free at Rainbow Bridge sweet Stuart, and send piggy kisses down to your mummy who will never forget the joy your brought to her life..

I'm so sorry for the loss of such a handsome pig. Rest well, dear Stuart. xx

Sorry it's a tad late, but I'm so sorry to hear about Stuart, what a truly beautiful boy who will be sorely missed :( x
