Lost my beautiful Treacle to Pyometra today. So sad I won't hear her purring any more
 
Thank you. I have just picked her from the vets. She looks peaceful. So sad only 14 months old.
 
Oh she was lovely! 14 months is a short life but it was a happy life being loved and cared for. RIP Treacle.

She will have been saying her goodbyes. Each time one of mine has died I have let the survivors see the body. Sometimes they have had a sniff and a nudge and seemed disinterested but when old Mrs a Fudge was pts Mr Ted washed her face so tenderly and whined. When he walked away I knew that he realised she was truly gone. I think it helps them to understand what has happened, so it's a good thing that you have enabled that to happen.

What a beautiful girl. I'm so sorry your time together was cut short. Rest in peace little one, may all your favorite veg be never-ending.
