It's really hard to put into words how much joy and happiness Grommit gave us during his 3 and half years with us. He will be sorely missed by us. His brother Wallace is holding up well to our loss, although we sense some small loss of spark in Wallace.

Grommit was always the quiet one, but always edged on Wallace, the brain behind the brawn. He had the knack of getting Wallace to do his bidding, begging for treats knowing if Wallace got he would get too.

He would sit on your lap, waiting for you to scratch under his chin. then nibble your fingers to let you know when to stop, so delicate always never with force. He was a big lad, but you never knew it until he stretched up for some hay in his cage. We always laughed when he was eating green beans, he would stand on one end, then eat from the other, until he could hold the bean between his two front feet.

He was such a special piggie, Such a handsome boy, We can see him now, over the rainbow bridge. doing the things he loves best. R.I.P son,

I am so sorry that you have lost your special boy!

RIP Grommit - you are missed!

Thanks very much to you all, for your kind words.... We have been reading other Rainbow Posts, we hope that our fellow posties get the same comfort we’ve gotten by reading the stories of their beloved ones, who have now pasted over the Rainbow Bridge . Our thoughts are with you as well.

Many thanks to you all, it does help... x
