We have recently purchased a C&C cage for our pigs to live in and we are using towels and vet bed as the bedding.
We've now clogged up our washing machine cleaning the bedding
We shake as much as we can off before putting in the washer.
Does anyone else use any other type of bedding where the hay could be removed easier?
Is sawdust the best option to go with in the future?
Thank you!

Sounds like you need a "horsewear wash bag" that's what I put my cage liners and cosies in then into the wash bag. Snoozies cosies sells them. And you can also get them in e bay.

I vote for the horse wash bag as well, I have one and have never had a problem with the washing machine clogging. It does struggle to do a spin cycle sometimes as it can't position the laundry properly, but I just remove half of the load spin it and then put the other half in. It only does this a handful of times though.
