C&c Cage Ramp

anyone have any ideas of what I could use as a ramp for my upper level in my c&c cage. I did buy a wooden one from amazon but my boys chew it and swallow the wood and I don’t want to risk them digesting wood as surely that can’t be safe?

I made my ramp out of a double piece of correx. It has a longer bit that goes between the correx and grid of the loft, then cable tied onto the sides of the loft. You can just about see it in this pic.

Hello! My boys have tubes from 'Runaround' to connect the different levels of their C+C cage and they love using them and zip up and down them so fast. I think they are mostly intended as a rabbit company but the tubes Runaround sell work well for my pigs.

Amazing pic! I was thinking of covering the ramp with fleece to stop them biting the wood but it wouldn’t have enough grip, hmmm

I'm not sure whether you mean grip for the fleece to stay attached, or for the piggies, so I'll answer both ;) It's fleece I've got on the ramp, double layered. It has a longer bit too which goes under the loft, and I twist it round the grid to keep it in place. Plenty of grip for the piggies going up and down...none of them have ever had problem.
 
Lol I meant piggies but thanks for answering both! Ah didn’t think they’d have a problem but wasn’t sure so you think fleece on the ramp would be enough grip for them? Thanks x
