C&C cage stacking

Hiya
I’m just in the process of neutering my boys and pairing them with a sow each as they fight.
I’m looking at stacking another 2 x5 on top of another but I just can’t tell how this works without it collapsing. I could put them side by side but rather not due to space.
If anyone has this setup please would you show me your pictures.

one cage set up as normal on the bottom. You then need to put grids around to make it two grids high all the way round (leaving a gap at the front for access). Then on top of the second row of grids you will need to add a couple of support bars from front to back to support the top cage. Then put on the top cage.

Alternativly you could consider putting one cage up on a table and another underneath.
We made this more accessible by putting a second table top on caster underneath the first so we could easily wheel it out for cleaning, etc.

I might do this. Can not believe I never thought of it!

If you’re still thinking of stacking without a table it works. Mine is a stacked 2x5 cage. Bottom has one grid added on all sides except one. Then I built the top cage on top of that. I put two wooden lengths through the grids that span the length of the cage and sit just under the top cage - just for support.

The first photo is what it looked like before I put in the wooden support bars and removed the grids at the front. That’s the only photo I have of it all really. You can see what it looks like from the other photos.

The square lengths of wood go from one end of the cage to the other. I passed them through the top hole on the grid below the top cage. You can actually see it on the last photo. It’s poking out near the bottom corner of the photo.

Oh yes I can see the wood and get what you mean now. It’s just what I want for mine.
