Get a cage stand she said, it will be easy she said.

*Throws connectors out the window in a fit of rage*
:D

When you have some connectors on their side and some flat they don't seem to fit together to make a square. One corner never reaches the connector. But I have 200 cable ties at the ready! This thing will get built:gp:

:)) Cage issues? Just look at those little furry faces when you are frustrated... they will make you happy again. Good luck!

The cage went together no problem. Then I thought it would be a bright idea to make a stand for it. But I bought them from a different place and the connectors are much harder to push together.

I had some really tough connectors absolutely nightmare to fit together

I needed to 'Hulk up' as seen below to fit them with superhuman strength

I need to down a can of spinach I think!
I have already cut my fingers twice as I my hand slipped when pushing them on. But it is now at 3 squares long so halfway there!

:) We need photos of the finished stand!

Good luck!

Put it on a table!

Those c and c connectors are really swear worthy. One day I will have wood and plexiglass.

I feel your pain and am in the exact same situation at the moment.
I also have 2 slightly different grid (and connector) sizes and after holding up quite well for 6 months the connectors are popping off left right and center.
It's driving me crazy, so next week I will get some tables and am going to attempt to build the entire cage with cable ties only.

Mine is in a roof room so the ceiling slopes quite low where they are so having it on a table would be too high as I also have a lid (to keep the cat out) so also need height for that to open. Once I find some decent sized short/coffee tables I will defintely get some.

@flowerfairy please can i ask where you purchased your tables from?ive a stacking c and c cage and it is bowing, and the connectors are breaking under the strain .
Mine isn't on a table yet @eileen but i have sized it up and will be getting a selection of Linnmon table tops from Ikea.
The sizing works pretty well with C&C's and they aren't too expensive. Plus then I get to choose the leg length I want.
