Hi all, Have just finished my first C&C cage for my piggies, didnt realise how little space they had until i actually put their new cage together, it seems massive. Its only 3x2 but has a l shaped hay loft. I was paranoid that they were going to jump off the top level so i have reinforced the loft to stop that. I'm just not sure how practical its going to be, i had a nightmare getting the fleece in. I think the problem is that its in quite a tight spot but there isnt really anywhere else it can go. If anyone has advice for getting fleece in cleanly please let me know! The piggies seem to appreciate it at least! Cx

Yes piccies please! I'm just about to start my first c&c cage, want 2nd level like hay loft but not sure how to support 2nd level so any tips welcome!

I would love to post some photos but I'm having technical problems at the moment. My fiancee has 'borrowed' the memory card out of my camera so no way that i can take photos! The top layer is relatively self supporting, its all held together with cable ties and its pretty rigid. I have bent two mesh grids to make a ramp which is cable tied to one side of the run and has some carpet tile stuck to the bottom of it for grip. the only problem i had was making sure they couldnt take a leap off the top level and i think i have got round the problem well... Very frustrated that i cant get photos now! The piggies have been popcorning like mad and running laps up and down the ramp! cx
