C&C Help!

I've been trying to make my C&C for about an hour now and I am completely stumped as to how to attach the lid? It's ready made but I have no idea where it is meant to fit in?

Any help from seasoned C&C'ers?
 
Well this C&C is driving me close to committing a crime! Looks horrendous, feels very flimsy and it all fits together very oddly. Thus far not a fan of the C&C cage :(
 
Do you think you could take a couple of photos? so people can see what is going on?
How thick is the correx?
I have to say I tried C and C and it also made me murderous - you aren't alone. was it an e bay kit? perhaps e mail the seller?

Are you using cable ties or the plastic clip things?
 
If you could explain what the exact problems are and as sophieandhoney says put up some photos to demonstrate. I'm new to guinea pigs but have built a relatively complex c&c by myself plus a simple one for my friend so might be able to help if I knew what advice you needed :)
 
I've figured it out now, I was so tired and confused last night that nothing made sense! It is now coming along very nicely now that I also don't want to commit murder! Frustrating blighters to put together initially!
 
I'm glad you've sorted it. C&C can be frustrating to start with, a bit like building a card pyramid, all flimsy and difficult to control. But when it's all finished it's quite sturdy and the piggies love it. It gets easier the next time, mostly, lol.
 
Thank you, I'm liking it a LOT more today then last night! I've still got to get the stand attached, but giving my hands a chance to recover from the beating they took putting it together last night!
