Hi
My piglets are currently in 6x2 c&c grid cages on stands. I did have the correx bases in there with the sides but i had to cut the sides off to stop the tinkers nibbling them as they wouldnt stop. Now of corse my floor at the back and sides are covered in hard to reach poops and hay. The grids are cable tied but i do find moving them all the time can cause some of the connecters to come loose and its an absolute pain. Does anyone have any solutions to this?
I have considered taking away the stands & just having the grid cages on the floor but I'm not sure about doing this yet incase it makes them nervous to have us human giants looming over them

I don't use connectors they drove me mad! I just cable tie my grids. The cages I have on stands I've cable tied a grid floor in which keeps the cage more stable and two of us can lift the whole cage off the stand without taking everything out. I use file binders on the edge of the Corex to stop them nibbling it or you can get Corex guards from C&C Guinea Pig Cages.

Is your stand made from c&c grids or do you have a different type of stand?
