c&c plastic covered grids

Are these ok to use?

I found some really lovely coloured ones but they are the covered plastic sides (not wire mesh). I am presuming as you could use perspex or a larger correx side they would be the same sort of thing - and the added bonus of closed sides = less hay mess outside the pen.

I have the meshy ones that wicks sell (not round weston sadly) from piggy love, but just wanted a few more partly to make a base and also to have extra sections just incase.
 
I have these, they're great! Seriously, there is practically no mess (less hoovering, woo!) and there's more of them in the pack so you can make even bigger cages... which means more piggies :))

Do you mean in the connectors? I found that the mesh connectors are slightly bigger than the plastic grid connectors, but with a few cable ties it's fine.

they have them in white, blue, yellow and black.

I brought two packs of the half sized ones on amazon a few months ago for shoe racks (as we have a lot of shoes) and I love these for tidying up what used to be a pile of shoes. These are the same size as the c&c grids but are a wire frame with plastic covering, only the corners remain to connect each other up and I would use cable ties to connect them anyway.

I had used the half size ones in the pen for a little balcony part and as part of silvers division before he was allowed in with the girls. I also will have correx base inside the new cage and a better designed pen for the winter now I know what works and what doesnt.
 
I remember seeing a video on youtube where someone had used those instead of the wire ones. I really liked the look of it, though I would make sure the correx is fairly high to stop the piggies getting to the plastic on them.

Oh that's fine, I don't have any connectors on my cage only cable ties ! (:

Hi

They are selling these in costco at present. can't remember the price but cheaper than the wire.
 
my costco in bristol never seems to have them in mallethead Although I have not been in for a while.
 
I paid £14.99 for 6 cubes on ebay in the plastic and they are pretty cool, I dont use them for pigs though
