I've already had some brilliant advice about c&c cages and fleece, but the conservatory is too cold overnight for them to sleep. I really need a nice contained spacious run and was wondering if I could combine a c&c run with a cage that I could bring into the house overnight. Has anyone done this?

The conservatory is currently like a stable with hay, sawdust and poop everywhere from the hutch and separate run! I just want a permanent fleeced area for them (with a little hay play area). I've got a snugglesafe so they're toasty in their bed at the moment. My original plan was to create a wheeled base but it isn't possible now.

n.b. I do sweep poop up regularly! But I'm sure they line up and fire through the bars when I'm not around!

Know what you mean about the poops landing outside. When I used to have this hutch & run (indoors) I'd find poops & urine stains outside the bars on the tile floor. But I never did see the culprit(s) or how it was done!

I'm sure you could use a commercial cage with a C & C run as per this example

Hi, thanks for the reply. The cage+ run looks good, and I might end up going for that type of thing, my only concern is that the cage is a little small for three girls overnight without the run. And I kind of wanted a run that contained the fleece too (being far too fussy for an owner of three messy piggies I know!).

Your setup is Brilliant! The tunnel over the ramp is a good idea and I love the Christmas decs! Wish I had room for that. What do you have now?

Wow I love this pic I never thought about keeping outdoor cages indoor. Is this hard to clean indoors?

That's good- I like that it has a safety cut out feature too. And it's quite reasonable too. Thanks again for more brilliant advice!
There has been some good reviews about it too, may be worth a go. Xx

This is what I have now. Big cage on top of a table. Much easier to clean. No pee outside the cage pan, but still the occasional poop on the floor! Someone is a high kicker!

And this is the run I use. Good for in & out. It is one of those 8 sided foldable pens that can be made up in any configuration. For outside I have a net cover to keep the magpies off.

No, it wasn't hard to clean. I used the same waterproof terry towelling mattress protector & vet bed that I use in my current wire & pan cage. I imagine though this would not be very good with loose bedding as it would probably fall out unless one built some sort of the side to the bottom part.
