c&c questions...

Am looking possibly in the near future of getting new cages for my piggies...i am looking at maybe a c&c....have been looking at the spaces i have available and got me thinking...if i built a 3x3 c&c...how many piggies would this house? Have been trying to do the maths but my brain isnt functioning at the moment. I may not go that wide and do a 2x4 or 2x5....depending on how much stuff i get rid of out my room hehe...but wondered how many piggies are suitable in a 3x3 c&c cage.
Also i would need two cages and both closed as i have a dog...although he isnt aloud in my room if I'm not home,...i would still need a close cage....dose anyone have a double c&c 2 story cage that is closed,.....all the ones i can find are open...i just wondered how hard they are to access and also clean etc. x

3 by 3 would be ok for two piggies. Not really any more. Some people on here have two stories inclosed, i personally dont. Hopefully someone will come along and show you one. Have a look on the C&C sticky thread with peoples pictures on. May be inspirational?

My cages have always been closed. I have a 2 x 4 at the mo that has a lid made from grids and attached via cable ties. It flips open at the top makes for easy access and cleaning.

I don't know how easy a lid would be on a 3 x 3 though. I'd imagine it can be done though.

Access becomes more tricky the more floors you have but not impossible - you just need sides that flip open and a clip to hold them open while you clean them.
