I'm moving in a few months and the pigs will have to have a c&c cage.
will it be okay for them to have a smaller cage than they have now?
where can i but the grids? the ones on guinea pig cages store are so expensive!
thanks (:

That depends really what size they would end up having and how they get on with each other.
For example, my three girls are in a 7x2 C&C, but when they go stay with Aunty C, they have a 5x2 as it’s easier to transport and set up. They’re fine in the minimum size for three as they all love each other, but if there were any irritations or tensions within the group, then the reduced space may trigger arguments

As long as it's still above the minimum as per the Cage Size Guide, you should be fine to downgrade a bit. :)

I'm assuming you're in the States as you mentioned Guinea Pig Cages' store? I found these on Amazon; they don't look too expensive compared to what I've seen.
