Is it easy enough to add a cover/lid to it? I have 2 cats so they need to be covered. And is this size big enough for 2 guinea pigs or do I need more?

Having looked into this a little more, it is a lot lot cheaper than buying a cage which means that they could get a bigger cage quicker.

That is big enough for 2-best to have 4 grids by 2 grids, which is 12 grids in total and after having a quick look, seems like here is enough left to make the `top`

I used those exact same grids to build my cage. It has caged to a different style now, but this is how it looked using one pack of grids...

And heres what I did with 2 packs, although I had lots left over

Just wish my flat was bigger, I'd love to have a longer, wider cage

That looks fab - I've emailed them to see if the store would order it in for me as they don't stock it and I can't reserve it online for store pick-up. Looks like my girls might get a bigger cage quicker than I thought. Their next Christmas has come early.

Is it easy enough to put a top on it? And can it be put on some sort of hinge for opening/closing?

It is normally only the huge B and Q warehouse that stocks it

If you have a problem getting it there, Robert May stock the same type, less grids though.

Yeah lids are easy You just do it the same as if you were making another level if that makes sense.

Cool - just heard back from B&Q today who have confirmed that a store not 2 far away from me should stock the grids that I wanted - yippee! Didn't say that on their website so don't want to totally go out my way, just in case. Will check on Monday when I will be nearer to it.

I had similar problems trying to locate the cubes, but I've found a B&Q nearby that stocks it! =]

The boyfriend has been sent on a mission to collect it, can't wait to add it to our current set up.
