i know it’s a bad habit for guinea pigs to chew the bars. so how do i get mine to stop? they keep trying to chew the bar when they get near my other guinea pigs cage.

Hi! What genders are they?

If they are different genders, please keep them well away from each other, and if they are all the same gender, you can keep them next to each other so that after some initial excitement the cage gnawing should settle mostly down.

they are all female, i just don’t know what to expect because i don’t know if my older ones are trying to bite her or not..

No, she won't bite. You can keep sows next to each other without problems. There can be some cage gnawing in an attempt to get to each other, but that dies down after a few days.

I have got lots of sow/neutered boar groups living next to each other. There has never been a bite through the bars despite all the initial excitement and the occasional fall-out. ;)
