Hi Folks. I can’t for the life of me get any spray cage cleaner at the moment. Weird . Online shopping isn’t an option . I’ve checked some old threads where white vinegar, washing up liquid and water is recommended. I’d be grateful for advice regarding ratios if I was to make up a spray bottle. On a weekly basis I spray the cage leave for 10mins and wipe with a damp cloth. I have enough F10 for my next monthly deeper clean . Many thanks in advance 😁

I have a 500ml spray bottle. I add a nice slug of vinegar and 2-3 drops of washing up liquid and then fill to the top with water.
It's not a precise thing to be honest, but it seems to do the trick.
Thank you. I may stick to that for weekly cleaning so much cheaper than shop bought sprays and with 3 cages to clean that’s a bonus. Probably a bit more environmentally friendly as well 😊

To be honest it's all I ever use.
I do have some heavy duty disinfectant on hand in case of an emergency (illness, infestation, etc) but I use the vinegar mix for the weekly clean, deconstruct the entire cage and give it a good hose down in the garden once a year and that's it.

Am I only supposed to use F10 monthly? I bought some recently when my piggy had mites and have been using it weekly? Cheers for any advice.

I normally only use F10 for deep cleans but mines going out of date so I'm using it daily instead of the vinegar mix at the moment. @weepweeps there's no hard and fast rules, most people only use it for deep cleans because of the cost.
