We would like to introduce ourselves to the GPF, although we understand our human has been proudly showing you our modelling photos since we arrived here a week ago. Our new human is a little odd. For one thing, he talks funny. We can't understand a word he says, but that's okay because it's clear he doesn't understand us at all.

He also does odd things when cleaning out our cage. He swears a lot anyway, we believe people who talk like him always swear a lot, but at cage cleaning time he's horrendous. He mutters to himself, and from what little we can understand we think he's annoyed at himself for leaving it so late in the day. But he always does it after we've had our dinner. We don't know why he waits til after dinner. Wouldn't it be better to have dinner in a brand new clean cage so we have somewhere for our poops to go afterwards?

THEN the clumsy oaf fell over our cage grids. He'd stepped in to make it easier to access the back of the cage and in stepping out his jeans got caught on one of the connectors and scared all three of us. Then he swore a lot more. Our poor, poor ears.

We've only been here a week. Hopefully he'll start making himself more useful.

Thanks for reading and hello to everyone!

Bann & Camowen.

Hello @Hope4gem!

We feel better about the whole thing now we know our human isn't some freak anomaly. Although he claims he is, but maybe that's just a human thing, who knows?

and hello @Merab's Slave!

He says he's out of practice. We could've told him that. :))
To @Lorcan 's piggies: happy to help! Glad you're feeling better about your hooman!

(And to Lorcan: Us human freak anomalies gotta stick together, lol. Thank goodness this piggy forum is here to help us survive the crazy journey of caring for piggies) :))

Hello Bann and Camowen

You will get used to your human and have him properly trained soon. Swearing is part of the cage cleaning process and your little ears will become accustomed to it. Today while poo picking i got a button on my top trapped in the grids and nearly pulled the whole cage over, the air was blue and the piggies were upset as they were waiting extra long for breakfast while i tided up the mess. The piggies think i need a refresher course in being their slave.

I'm off now to perform further piggy duties as a delivery of hay has arrived and some must be provided in the cages immediately for quality control purposes. :)

Looking forward to hearing how the training of you hooman progresses.

@YvonneBlue We're working on it. He keeps doing this thing where, before he goes downstairs and before he goes back into his room once he's come upstairs, he comes into our room. He keeps saying it's to check on us and make sure we're okay, but he rarely brings back any food with him! Occasionally we've had a blueberry or a grape but that's it! Can you imagine? Although we climb on the bars wheeking in disgust and he picks Cam's front paws up on his finger, kinda gently holding him up while Cam tries to eat his fingers. Cam says it's quite comfortable. It looks weird, but he likes it

He also keeps making sure Cam's not trying to sleep under the fleece again. I'm with our human on that one, he keeps ruining our nice fleecy floors. The human calls him a "daft eejit". No idea what it means, but I think I agree with the sentiment.

Signed - Bann (the sensible one)
