Hello
I really want to "spice up" my piggies C&C cage aswell as my shop bought cage, i've looked at mini bunting which i love the idea of but i wanted to know what else other people used and if anyone could show me pictures of how they make there cage look a bit less cage like !

I've got bunting around my cage and have put some fairy lights on it - it looks lovely in the evening :))

This was my temporary set up whilst I was bonding Fin with the girls (he lived on top) but now they have a one level 6x2 with the bunting and fairy lights :)) you can see i've got some piggy signs too!

Have you seen guineapigslaves set up - it's amazing!
 
Looks really good! It just concerns me that the lights may get chewed!
I would hate to think that your beautiful piggies may get electrocuted!

Of course! But it's fine, they can't reach up to the top where the lights are and luckily my piggies don't really chew!
 
It all looks gorgeous, i think i may have to buy some fabric to try and make some bunting! i had some lights around my cage at christmas and i just loved the effect it gave in the evening !

Hmm the possibilities are endless !
 
I had christmas lights on my cage at christmas my pigs never touched them just kept them high enough so they couldn't reach I'm sure the piggies are perfectly safe (:
 
I love bunting! I've made lots for Christmas and am planning on making more for just around the house throughout the year. I got a zigzag rotary cutter which made it very easy to churn out triangles. I then folded over the tops and stitched them to some tape.
 
I've bought the piggies some mini-bunting - it's pink, so hoping Toby isn't the kind of guy that objects to the colour. :))

Going to order some fairy lights after pay day. Not any hurry for them as my Dad is going to build a table for me to put the c&c cage on to raise it off the floor (and put it on wheels).
 
Oh i feel i need to join the bunting craze !

Where is everyone else buying there bunting from, i'm thinking i'll need one blue and one green in colour as although the pigs don't mind I'm a little fussy with how everything matches and i only use blue, green and brown fleece :')
 
Haha, oh i might ask my mum to make some as an easter gift to my piggies ! I'm a bit on the lazy side too !
i guess it's more customisable if you make it yourself, hmm I'm excited about it already !

I'm making my own :)) got my ribbon and materials off eBay, if you type in patchwork squares, you get beautiful sets that you can cut into triangles, you get to chose your colour scheme and patterns, and its cheap! X
