What's a good cage size for two boys? I currently have a 40×19 cage though I can go out and get a bigger one if need be.

Boys need a huge amount of space.
40x19 inches is far far too small and doesn’t meet even minimum welfare sizes (it only comes in at 100x48cm).
Two boys need 180x60cm which converts to 70x24 inches.

I figured as much. It's been used for just one for awhile. Anxiety because I don't want them fighting over space once they finally live together

Definitely need bigger for both.
Unfortunately it is also too small and doesn’t meet welfare sizing for a single piggy either. Even a single piggy still needs a minimum of 120x60cm (that’s the same size as your two girls are in)

It was a temporary thing for a few months. Looking for bigger ones now. Also in the next year or so they will get a handmade build double decker cage so definitely will be getting huge cages then
