Cage Liner - Is An Anti Allergy Mattress Topper Ok To Use?

Hi - new piggie owner here! I wanted to make some cage liners and have read that mattress toppers are good to use with fleece. I found one at Tesco which is 100% cotton - it is an anti allergy one. Would this be OK to use?

Also I have loads of fleece offcuts - can I pop these in the cage for them to burrow in as they are or would they need to be hemmed?

As the anti-allergy one is 100% cotton, that sounds fine! Is it treated with anything antibacterial though? that might make a difference to its suitability.

Hi Cassandra - thanks for your reply. Yes I think it said it had an anti allergy treatment so perhaps that wouldn't be suitable.

I found this mattress protector - I think this should be ok?
