Well, like I said in my introduction post, I bought my first piggie yesterday, but I read that piggies need to be at least in pairs, so today I bought a second one.
The thing is that since I only pretended to have one, I bought a 45x75 cage and now both piggies live in the same cage. Is it too small for both of them?
I've already spent way more money than I intended, so getting a new cage is out of the question right now. And what's even worse, this cage is already too big for the space I have available, so there's that too.

Yes it is far too small for two pigs @Antonio R. Being in a cramped space increases the likelihood of the bond failing and fights occurring.

I hope I don't come across badly but I'm struggling to understand why you would decide to have a pet guinea pig or two if you don't have the space or money for them.

They can be quite an expensive pet, especially if they need to visit a vet.

I would recommend you try to arrange your living space to accommodate a bigger cage, and also start a savings fund for vet visits and things they will need.

Hi that cage is too small and you're likely to have fights break out between the piggies because they cannot get away from each other. When they grow they'll have literally no room to move about. If there is not enough space in your room how about a hutch outside which is bigger- where do you live? In England you can try the website gumtree or eBay and there are many hutches/bigger indoor cages for very low prices.

Contrary to belief, guinea pigs are quite expensive pets. Not in the sense of food but health bills and the space/stimulation they require to live a happy and healthy life.

I have no doubt that you brought these piggies to love and the fact you got another shows you care but that cage will not do and is more of a hamster sized cage they sell at pet stores then a guinea pig cage. I'm sorry to say but if you cannot afford a bigger cage etc I think you should look at taking them to a shelter.
