Hi everyone!
It has been a week now since our treasured girl Pipsqueak passed. We are not ready to move on just yet but are aware now of the age gap between our two remaining sows, Penny is seven and Picnic is probably only a year old.
The girls are currently in a 2x5 C&C and we wondered if this was suitable to house a neutered boar?
I have kept Penny with our lovely boy Thomas in this same set up last year but unfortuantely he passed away after just two years with us, they made a wonderful pair together, such a great bond we were devastated when he went, hence the arrival of Pipsqueak and Picnic.
So my question is, is 2x5 okay for two sows and one boar? We often find single boars on the SSPCA and if we are able to in future would love to open our home to a boy once again. Thanks!
