Hey! I currently have one Guinea pig and I'm going to convince my parents to let me get another. But my current cage isn't big enough for two. I was wondering if this would be big enough for at least one, maybe two? 9.5 x 24.5 x 40.3 inches. It's a two shelf bookcase and I'm thinking of putting a ramp or tunnel or some sort between the two levels. I might put the ramp/tunnel (it'd be completely enclosed for safety) on the outside, to save space on the inside. What do you all think?

have you though about and opening to the outside pen? Just so if its stuffy atleast they can get run space outside.

This is my favourite guide. Guinea pigs need the space on one level any additional level isn’t counted (although it can be a useful place to escape each other especially if you have a pair of boars).

Lino on the bottom is good for easy cleaning. Sounds like a lovely cage to be.

Hi! Your wooden cage sounds like a fun cage! If you are still looking for cage ideas I would personally suggest building a "c and c cage" with a coroplast bottom. That's what I'm making right now and I think its going to be a good set up. Just waiting for my parents to pick up the coroplast. Let me know how it turns out! :)
