Hello everyone.

I have a 2 by 6 c and c cage for four guinea pigs, if I needed to split it in half would it be big enough for the pairs to live in a 2 by 3 c and c cage, hope this makes sense.

Also am thinking of getting one or two more Guinea pigs to add to my group of four Guinea pigs would this size cage mentioned above a 2 by 6 c and c be big enough?

If you mean 3ft by 2ft . In cm the length is 121.92cm. So it would be big enough for a pair of sows or a pair of sow and neutered boar and thats it. Not 2 boars together. 👍

There is a useful cage size guide here:

2 x 3 is on the smaller size for a pair, and if you think you may need to split the 4 piggies that you already have, then getting more guinea pigs isn't a good idea.
A 2 x 6 cage is certainly not nearly big enough for 6 guinea pigs, so I would stick with 4 for now.

HI

I think my four are going to be o.k as a group I was looking in to it just in case the cage needs to be spilt.

As four getting more Guinea pigs I was wondering whether to add one or two more for a bit more company, I was thinking at least one more to the group if the cage would allow.

Your cage is just big enough for the four to be honest. If you wanted to add more pigs you would need to look into extending it so they have adequate space
